Our world is changing at an incredible pace accelerated by the recent pandemic. Many social, economic, and political norms have become outdated, paving the way for new ideas to re-shape the world around us. Al Sharq Youth Hubs around the world are now active and open to welcome new volunteering members.

What We Do and Why

We are a network of committed and active youth leading change towards a more inclusive and just world. Through our activities, projects, and programs, we aim to:

▲ Inspire youth to take informed action and challenge the status quo.

▲ Empower youth with the tools and resources to change the current reality of their world to build prosperous future for their regions and communities.

▲ Connect youth to amplify their impact towards a more just, inclusive, and beautiful world.

Our world today faces major global challenges that affect all aspects of modern life, from climate change to economic and social inequalities. And yet, our global conversations around these challenges are seemingly more polarized and fractured than ever.

At this critical juncture in history, our network is working towards creating new ideas and initiatives in a new spirit to address those global challenges through promoting the ideals of an informed-citizenry, multi-stakeholder dialogue and democratic participation, while providing a space for the exchange and realization of ideas that contribute to the betterment of the world.

Volunteering with Us

Al Sharq volunteer is a proactive purpose-driven change agent who voluntarily undertakes initiatives or contributes to projects that aspire to achieve change towards a better world. Therefore, Al Sharq Youth is a network based on “Volunteers” who are willing to share their time and efforts to have an impact.

Volunteers Criteria

⬊ Age: 18 – 35

⬊A proactive concerned citizen who takes the initiative of proposing and leading activities and projects that correspond to the local community challenges and the Hub goals.

⬊ Ready to share his/her time and efforts to participate in developing and executing the Hub’s activities.

⬊ Supports the Hub and the network with new ideas of clarity, flexibility, and ability to implement it.

⬊ Has moral commitment to the values of the network and respectively dealing with its members.
