Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth empowerment and possess a strong background in social media management, with expertise in designing engaging content and running successful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Al Sharq Youth Network’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (X)..
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create compelling and relevant content tailored to our target audience, ensuring consistency with organizational goals and values.
- Plan and execute global engagement campaigns to amplify our reach and impact.
- Provide timely updates about the organization’s events, activities, and initiatives.
- Foster community engagement and interaction through meaningful online interactions.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously optimize our social media presence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in a nonprofit or youth-focused organization.
- Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and relevant social media tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality visual and written content.
- Proficiency in video editing is a plus.
- Passionate about youth empowerment and committed to making a positive impact.
