Al Sharq Club

Al Sharq Club is a diverse community of international students aiming to provide a platform that inspires positivity, growth, adaptability and the hope for a better future within a friendly environment that is rich with capacity-development and opportunities.

Al Sharq Club Members:

Highly-skilled, value-centered, well-connected students with leadership and thought potential.

Al Sharq Club Target Audience:

University Students in Istanbul between 18 and 25
Students who have, previously volunteered or participated in any of ASYF’s events
Students that speaks English fluently

Al Sharq Club Objectives:

1. Link and engage different students’ communities with opportunities through ASYF’s significant network.

2. Develop a pool of promising talented youth.

Al Sharq Club Outputs:

1. Launch initiatives that are the brainchild of the Club’s community and are driven by ASYF values.
2. Organize activities that are relevant to the objectives of the club and interests of students.
3. Motivate the production of ambitious projects amongst students.
4. Add to the progressive curated expansion of Sharq Hubs and the central network.

The Political Game

Date: 21st of April 2018

Event Description:

The Political game is a simulation of political historical scenario that can develop student’s skills in terms of decision making, negotiations, and critical thinking. In this game, players will be divided into teams based on their skills and abilities. Each team will be assigned a set of goals or “agenda” that they would have to achieve to win the game. Remember, all is fair in love and war.

Note: Applications will open on 6th of April and close on the 15th of April.
