Discussion Session on the History of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights | Italy

As the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is drawing closer, Al Sharq Youth Italy Hub organized an interactive discussion session on the history of the Declaration and raised the question of how it is implemented nowadays. The event hosted Thomas Casadei, Professor of Law at the University of Modena, and Doctor Roberto Scaini, humanitarian worker from Doctors Without Borders to share their insights on the issue.

Al Sharq Youth Italy Hub organized ‘Children in Hell: Syria, A War Without An End’ conference in collaboration with the Peace Committee Of Mirandola And MSF Of Bologna. During the special event, Leonardo Frisari, surgeon and volunteer of MSF, talked about the Syrian war and the toll it takes on the children.

Al Sharq Youth Italy Hub visited the Italian family company “Loccioni Group”. During their visit, a discussion on leadership was held by Enrico Loccioni, founder of the Group, and Dr. Mohamed Nour Dachan with the participation of the hub members – the discussion was followed by a visit to the factory.
